Thanks for the info. Quickdraw 3d is interesting... some concerns are
you don't have to answer these, I'm just noting them ):
1) licensing - free?
2) support and general community size (i suspect java3d community is
going to balloon)
3) linux version? They do have a picture of a penguin on their site but
it seems to refer to some other idea.
4) java wrappers? I actually do prefer Java now.
5) file format loaders - vrml?
6) java3d style behavior nodes - I don't know that quickdraw 3d does,
there seem implications that it does this.
7) packaging and distribution of final application
8) performance? Can I rip out the device driver layer and replace it
with something more optimized later on?
