We don't officially support JavaFX on Solaris and Linux yet, though we  
are working very hard on it. That's why you won't see an SDK download  
for Linux and Solaris. However, the pure Java bits will run almost  
everywhere. The parts that don't work yet on Linux and Solaris are the  
bits that need native code, like video codecs. We are working very  
hard on it, though, and we hope to have it ready in the next update  
soon.
