Again I'm struck by this: The primary difference between those who
think apple is a problem and those who don't, is that those who think
apple is a problem believes that in the current market, only Apple
makes stuff people actually use.

The day Siemens or Philips or Sony release a TV-with-internet with a
User Interface experience that isn't worth socking someone in the face
for is the day hell freezes over. Good lord, those idiots can make
some crappy UX.

Other than that, you've completely missed the point, so I suggest you
reread the OP, or, better yet, the blogpost linked in the first
comment, that one is slightly more to the point.
