A JVM? Now who's delusional. lol Of course the core runtime it's done with the NDK rather than the SDK, but it still has to interact with the phone environment which is subject to the discretion of Dalvik. > Also, not a single thing Jobs said is disproved by this video. Bullocks, the fact that they are not there yet in no way validates how things went down: Apple: Flash isn’t good enough. Adobe: We need Apple’s help (API's, hardware accelerators etc.) Apple: Adobe is lazy. Apple is protecting revenue streams (Hulu rings a bell?) by invoking every sane and insane argument Jobs can come up with. > The main point that the recent apple vs. flash commentary has been > about is using flash tools to generate Objective C code that you then > turn into an app. It has not been about running flash in mobile > safari. Well that just happens to be the most recent draconian step Apple took with section 3.1.1. in their distaste for anything even remotely related to Adobe. Most analysists attribute Jobs hatred towards Adobe/ Flash back to 1997 and controversies regarding Final Cut Pro and Premier on Mac/PC. No other device manufacturer (http:// www.openscreenproject.org/partners/current_partners.html) has the plethora of issues painted by Jobs. > On May 12, 12:50 pm, Casper Bang <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > > > Yeah but by now it should be obvious that father Jobs is full of crap > > and his own ulterior motives.
