Sorry, I just threw out examples of what could be in the podcast.

The goal of my response was to encourage splitting up the work. Perhaps
along the different lines of development that are in the space. I couldn't
think of what the topics would be and can't now. I'm still kind of new to
the Android platform and need to study up on it quite a bit.

Anyway, if there were multiple people doing what Dick Wall does, then the
job would be much more manageable I would think. That group could work
together to find the content of the podcast. Others could do the speaking,
commenting, etc who are interesting to listen to. Another person or group
could be responsible for doing interviews.

I think the quality for developers could be high. There would be a lot of
good content, in a smaller time frame. Interviews would be separate from the
regular weekly podcasts.

I completely agree that it needs to be DEV focused. If you want regular
news, there are lots of channels for it. The thread talking about how
developers keep themselves up to date is a good example of how overloaded we
all are. If a podcast like this helps everyone keep up, then I think it will
have achieved its goal and would be successful. I just don't think it would
be of good quality unless lots of people worked together on it as it would
be too much work for just one or two people.
