For the software part I would focus on building an environment where companies can share costs of implementing new stuff into the Java, NetBeans, OpenOffice, VirtualBox and other worlds. For manufacturers it already happens that one car manufacture builds models for another manufacturer and vice versa to share costs. So car manufactures are are less rivals as one might think - they are doing more joint venture style business as one might think. So Oracle has the access to solve a lot of IT problems - especially when it comes to problems that are not limited to a single software product. So I would focus on doing implementations for a sum of other companies trying to achieve the same goal in the IT world - helping others to really get more innovative and productive and to get the most out of the IT infrastructure and services. -- Martin Wildam http://www.google.com/profiles/mwildam -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
