I have this one and I'm very about it, especially because of the small
keyboard. This make the phone somehow bigger (which I actually like, it's
harder to loose), but if you plan to "tinker" with Android, having can be
really handy. After more than 5 month of rather intensive use, I have no
complains regarding the hardware.

I don't think the battery is poor by itself, actually, a couple of time, I
was amazed by how long it was able to run - but, as I had issue recently
with the battery running low, I "cleans" the app, and thus remove some
"battery consuming" stuff. I truly think battery consumption on the
milestones is more about what you apps are doing than the hardware itself.

It don't feel "very hot" to me also.

As I live in Germany, I can't really tell anything about the android version
on it, as I think it is tied to my provider.

Hope this help.
