The Motorola specific documentation has been to find out all the JSR support for the JavaME implementations of different feature phones. The HTC Touch Pro 2 is one of the few phones I have owned which wasn't from Motorola. I also have others in the family who have had Motorola phones. I can also get similar information from Nokia's website. My HTC phone supports JavaME but their developer resources don't include any JavaME information. I checked the site of JBlend who makes the Java implementation for the phone but the site showed the core JSR's supported but implied given phones may support more if the handset manufacturer implements them. I had no response from trying to contact HTC to find out supported JSRs and ended up writing a Midlet to probe the capabilities.
I suppose the Touch Pro 2 being Windows Mobile is most likely going to be developed for using that platform than JavaME and JavaME is really just bolted on as an afterthought. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
