The T-Mobile Glacier is rumored to be the upcoming dual core phone (though the project name they chose for that doesn't exactly bring to mind images of blazing speed), though it is an HTC phone if you are dead set against them. I'm considering a G2 as an upgrade to my aging G1, but again its an HTC phone.
