First, 90% of Java developers do not use Swing or AWT. I don't have exact figures but many do pure server-side or web development. They do not care about desktop Java libraries beyond having a working IDE. Second, SoyLatte is "substantially derived" from OpenJDK and is therefore eligible to receive a TCK licence from Oracle. It is not incomplete, it supports Swing and AWT via X11, which may give crappy usability but is good enough for TCK compliance. Therefore SoyLatter definitely can be 100% certified Java.
