My background is engineering, as in aerospace/industrial. Engineers of
various stripes take the same courses in statics, dynamics, strength
of materials, etc. (I side tracked into computer science because of
Steve Jobs and something called the Macintosh back in the '80s.)
My first view of the WTC7 collapse video (which it wasn't until 2006
that I even learned that there was a 3rd WTC7 building that
collapsed!!!) I knew right off that it was a controlled demolition as
the roof line was collapsing in a perfectly horizontal manner all the
way down at a speed that was very apparently free-fall. Frame by frame
analysis of WTC7 collapse video footage does indeed verify that it
collapses very, very close to free fall total time. I, of course, went
off and did the kinematics calculations to verify for myself. My
calculation for idealized free-fall total time in a vacuum, from the
height of the WTC7 roof line, was within about a 1/4 of a second of
the actual collapse time of WTC7. Material resistance of all 40
something floors had to be removed simultaneously and completely in
order to achieve that.
I don't really care to speculate about any of the conjecture you raise
about multi-generational long conspiracy plots. Instead of conjecture
and speculation of what is and isn't possible in terms of human social
behavior (the epitome of soft science), I just go with the laws of
physics and the physical evidence. Multi-ton steel sections being
ejected laterally hundreds of feet speaks volumes to an engineer in
terms of the energy vector that caused that projection (the force
vectors produced by releasing potential energy of gravitational
collapse are vertical - not horizontal). It's a laws of physics matter
and a physical evidence of the incident that is completely undeniable
(a tree in front of the nearby chapel was destroyed by one of those
steel beam lateral projections).
