It will be interesting to see when Sun's goodwill, runs out for
Oracle. Apart from the mysterious IBM alliance, it doesn't look like
Oracle is particular keen on building relationships of any kind unless
there's $ involved. With that in mind, you wonder whether Oracle
didn't make a strategic mistake to ignore the community in such
massive ways. Engineers and PM's familiar with open source and mutual
collaboration are bound to want to look elsewhere and that can not be
a good long-term strategy.
