Your sentiment that a Bank should not be on the JCP. It is wrong and Dangerous that you should ignore other industries. Computer Science spans the whole world, not just a few geeks on forum.
Bloch, basically blocked Closures from an earlier adoption, Very wrong move and I honestly believe in hindsight he would revert his decision I don't care that Lee was a Computer Scientist. He was involved in Physics. If Credit Suisse equally has a Computer Scientist who can contribute to a language why bar him from a table of influence based on his employment? P.S. No one actually commented with approval of Credit Suisse actually using Reflection and Spring after some random 'I cant see anything wrong with that' responses to my first post. I am very Glad that they do. 2010/12/9 Cédric Beust ♔ <[email protected]> > > > On Wed, Dec 8, 2010 at 7:15 PM, Liam Knox <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Does not stop a Company who is involved in another field , i.e. Banking, >> Medicine, Energy etc, etc, with worthy ideas being voted to the table to >> influence a language that impacts all these areas. >> >> There is nothing wrong with this.
