Consider that outside the US Android has got even larger growth potentials. When I released my first Android app, just 6/7 months ago, the first question I received from users was "What is Android?". Then "Why is your app available for such an obscure brand and not the iPhone?". Only at the beginning of this year in my country Android was restricted within geeks' jargon and you never saw an advertising with it. On the contrary, iPhone and Apple had been a consolidated brand for a few years. As months passed, I've started seeing advertisements, even in general-purpose newspapers, and we can say that the circle has been closed a week ago when I saw the first primetime TV spot where a famous football player, testimonial for Vodafone, talks about Android. So, Apple had a big advantage in my country, while now I expect the gap to be filled.
