Well it's interesting that, initially, iSteve didn't envision 3'rd part native applications on the iPhone but rather HTML stuff. In all likelihood we are bound to come to a battle between native apps and "the open web". I guess we'll end in some hybrid, Chrome is about to remove the location bar entirely just as native client is coming out as beta.
