Maybe, but the real question is: what incentive will Apple have to continue pushing Mobile Safari forward if it directly negatively impacts its revenue? For example, why implement <device><http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/complete/commands.html#devices>or make the address book available in some micro-data format if that diminishes the need for tax-paying native apps?
