Apple own's ARM? Apple bought Intrinsity, but not ARM Holdings AFAIK.
ARM are experts on CPU designs which they license out to companies who
tweek and customize in their own SoC's. Apple's "mythical" A4 is just
an ARM Cortex-A8 core tweaked by Intrinsity and Samsung, manufactured
by Samsung. In fact, Samsung produces the very same CPU under the name
Hummingbird (S5PC110A01) which you can find in the Galaxy S and Wave
devices.
