Apple co-founded ARM with two other companies in 1990, but sold off its shares at the end of the nineties (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ ARM_Holdings, http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/08/07/30/arm_reports_finger_apple_as_long_term_architecture_licensee.html). Maybe you meant "Imagination Technologies" which do the PowerVR graphics chips that Apple and other companies use?
