I've got half a mind to write my own task manager because I haven't
yet found anything that does quite what I want. However, my
requirements include maximum task portability with existing
applications and the ability to run on Windows/Mac/Android and iPhone,
which puts it somewhat outside the time I have available to dedicate
to it. Besides, the world is awash with task managers already; I'm
sure that I just haven't seen the right one yet.

I have Wunderlist on my Android but it's too simple. I also need the
ability to have flexible ways of repeating tasks (e.g. both "monthly
on a particular date", "monthly on the second Monday" and "1 month
from completion of the previous" type options).

I also currently have a trial version of MyLifeOrganised, which I
really like. The main problem being that synchonisation is either
free and awkward or cloud based but with a monthly fee. I'm happy to
pay up front for the right software, but really want to avoid a
subscription.

In brief, can anyone recommend a good, flexible task manager.

Thanks.
