What most people don't know is that Xeroc sold their own computer, based on 
the Xerox PARC ideas, in 1981 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xerox_Star); 
the Mac didn't launch until January 1984. However, at $16k, it failed in 
the market; the Mac started around $2k.
