All the more, the libusb-win32 project is a port of linux/unix version
of libusb.
I am using it in my heartbit project ( http://heartbit.sourceforge.net
) with good success. the libusb-win32 is very helpful and responsive.
I think the jUSB port to win32 is, at the contrary, quite a dormant project...
