It may work assuming the virtual machine is very faithful to Windows but it 
won't give you access to the LINUX environment. It may be possible in some 
machines to run essentially two computers independently and have one access 
the other, this would probably be still a very unusual computer however 
there isn't really any point. Usually one will run LINUX to take advantage 
of any of it's special features so then restricting yourself to the 
limitations of Windows buys you nothing.

Running a virtual machine so you can have Jaws, might as well run a Window 
machine. You will only be able to run Windows applications.
