Try putting a space between the chkdsk and the /f.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Tips and Tricks?

I have XP and JAWS 6.0.
I was following the "tips and Tricks" suggestions under the PC maintenance
heading.
When I performed the "Check Disc" , heading number 3, I only put in the edit
field chkdsk.
When I hit "enter", the function seemed to start right away without giving
me the option to re-start.

After reviewing the instructions I noticed that I should have put in the
edit field chkdsk/f.
When I tried to perform the instructions this way, I got a dialogue that
said, that file can not be found.

My question is; should I have used the /F?
Did I screw up anything the first way I performed this action?

Thank you for any help.

Rich
