Thanks, Kerry. After some more googling around, I found a link to something called VoiceOver, which is apparently MAC's built-in reader. I am hoping that it is more robust than Narrator is for Windows, as I may have to use Quark and jump around in magazine layouts for proofing and editing, and when I tried that with Narrator (my pre-Jaws days) it was a miserable failure. It appears Apple has tried to make this a fairly formidable app, so if I can try it out this weekend, I'll post for anybody who might be using both platforms, or may need to. Sure wish there was a JFM, though, I'd feel a lot better about it.

I understood that Macs (especially those running the os10 and up) have their own built in screen readers. I have one in the office, but I have to confess I've never sedit, just heard the screen reader ever so often. HTH. Nothing popped up in the Jaws headquarters. I may be doing some work with a company that almost exclusively uses MAC (and I have a MAC that my film editor works on here at my home) so I am thinking about finding a screenreader for it. Obviously, I would want to use Jaws since I know it, but if there isn't such a thing, maybe somebody could tip me off to something similar? Anybody using both a MAC and a PC? Thanks.
