I've turned off both actually. I think I did the same thing in norton when I did use it 6 years ago.
SA&G : You are right, Sarah. Now, why does AVG have scanning of incoming : *and : outgoing* emails - it won't let you turn off one without the other. : If it's : been monitoring your system properly, which it's supposed to do while : it's : operating on it, it (the antivirus) shouldn't need to again scan the : outgoing emails composed on that very system as well. What you get : is extra : advertising verbiage. : : ----- Original Message ----- : From: "Sarah" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : To: <[email protected]> : Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2007 12:34 AM : Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] e-mail scanning : : : ACutaly many people besides me suggest turning off the email scanner : in any : antivirus program. Feel free to scour the news groups : about this, Now maybe I'm going off of old news but I do scann every : day at : 3 every morning when I'm sleeping. AVG managed to move : one email i never got to the valt from a DBX file, I think.
