Eric and others, I did check and I have the latest Jaws 8, and what I just discovered was that maybe it's something in Windows Messenger causing the problem. Eric is correct in that I am alt-tabbing okay through most things, but when a message comes to Windows Messenger that's when it acts up and either won't stay in that particular window or it goes to a tool tip place instead of the typing window part of Messenger's window. I don't know if anyone recommends a specific version of Messenger that works best with Jaws and maybe mine is an older one. But this seems to be where the problem is when it comes to focus. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric Damery" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 23, 2007 8:59 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws 8 doesn't focus where i want it to
