I've been running it in the system trey for several years already without 
any problems at all.

The only problem that I have found with running JAWS from the system
tray is that i can't access all of the menus.  I can only access the
first list of options.  I cannot, for example, access the utilities or
help menu.  To do this, i have to leave the JAWS window intact.
