Yeh.  I love my Sony Vaio laptop, but you can not turn the mouse touch 
pad off, and it is located in front of the keyboard so I'm always 
bumping it.  I use a blue tooth keyboard most of the time because I am 
so sick of this problem.  I don't want to totally uninstall it if that's 
even possible, because my sighted husband uses it sometimes to fix 
problems, ETC.
