Hi Mark, I would say to definitely go for AVG Internet Security Home Edition, the all-in-one security package. The free version scans for viruses, but doesn't do much for spiware. There may be another AVG product for spiware, but I recall there is one AVG product that requires labeling of graphics and what not. I use AVG Internet Security 7.5 and find it totally accessible in all respects.
