Hi all, Thanks for the great advice. As David suggested, I was really supposed to ask about performance with jaws because three years ago I got a toshiba and when I installed jfw it kept crashing the system. Something to do with the moniter. I'm therefore very hesitant about buying thosiba for that reason.
Dell is very well supported over here, but there are agents for all the other brands locally, so repairs shouldn't be too big an issue. I may posisbly go with the Linovo brand as that is the one most highly recommended and besides locally. My old one was a dell which before this major crash gave no major trouble. I don't want the extended keyboard or 17 inch screen because My system will be travelling quite a bit and I don't need the extra weight to deal with. Thanks aain guys.
