Hi. Yes, I've done the merge. I also moved the Outlook.JDF file from JAWS 7 to the JAWS 9 ENU folder. I now remember from before. I did all this a while back when I upgraded to JAWS 7, but for whatever reason I never could get JAWS to run with the modifications in the older JDF file. Thanks for the advice, but I've decided to go ahead and make the changes manually. It will take less time to do that than to keep troubleshooting this minor issue.

From the Jaws window, Alt-U for utilities, then your focus should be on the merge utility. After pressing enter, it will present you with a list of previous Jaws versions from which you can restore settings. I believe it defaults to the most current version, which I'm quite sure is the one you would want. Press enter, and within a few seconds, all your settings should be transferred to your new Jaws installation. Hope this helps.
