Marily, Sometimes you need to quote the part of the original message you're replying to, so that those of us on list can better adress the question. There are two different, sometimes - but not necessarily - complementary questions being discussed here: 1. Is the program accessible; 2. if so, how good is the program at performing its core operation? (The two questions are related because of our use of the program.) If someone lauds the accessibility of a program, that does not automatically mean that the program does a better job than its less- or non-accessible fellow at what it does as its core operation. AFB program reviews, as I understand them, are tailored more towards evaluating their accessibility for us users.

I thought the AFB was a blindness outfit. "Access World" discusses accessibility from a blindness standpoint. marilyn Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/managers.php If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/managers.php If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
