I imagine mSE will continue to be updated until Microsoft no longer supports it, at which time you'll probably suddenly find you have Windows Defender instead, or will be told you need to upgrade to it. mS is good at this; you'll always be notified so long as you don't mess around with your autoupdate settings too much.
