if something ever stops working properly in Windows 10, too, you can always
run it in compatibility mode. You will have to pick which Windows version
you want to "revert" to, so this may mean experimenting with the settings.

I noticed the focus issues, too, and running in compatibility mode seemed to
help, but I also read that this can cause other issues and that it isn't
really recommended that you do this by people at the Winamp forum.

The last released version of Winamp works perfectly well with Windows 10
Professional, 64 bit anniversary edition. There are some focus issues, but
other than that, it works fine. I can't speak for the creator's update, but
the above version is compatible.

Are you referring to editing the actual file name, or the meta-data
information?

If the former, does F2 not work for you?

If the latter, are you using alt+3 on the number row, just above your
keyboard?

I use both these methods on a regular basis because iTunes is atrocious for
this kind of stuff. LOL.

In any case, I think David has the last released version on his Jaws-users
webpage.

Hope this helps.

Interesting, Winamp works here on win 10 just fine. I hit alt + 3 on the
number row and all of those edit boxes pop up.

Sorry, but as to the other programs you mentioned I do not know.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Editting MP3 files

Hi, all
Hope someone respond. In the past when I needed to edit a MP3 name, I was
able to do so in WinAmp. However now I am using W10 and Winamp does not work
well with it. I did installed it but did not work. I am using Window Media
Player, VLC to play my music. Can I do so with any of the above? Please let
me know. Using current JAWS and W10. Thanks.
