I know some of you are getting tired of this, but I thik the subject is
relevant since we are constantly tryhing to find antivirus, security, and
spyware programs that we can navigate and which do their jobs well. In
Window-Eyes, the mouse cursor can read such headings as “header text,” block
title,” total items scanned” (multiple times), “progressk,” “right now
text,” and “status text.” Uet tje actia; text is not displayed. I can’t read
any of this with JAWS. I hate to say this, but the JAWS cursor is wortheless in
this Window. NVDA reads all headings except “header text.” Again, the actual
information is not read. I will look at letting the folks at Vipre know this,
since they seem to be happy with the facts that they have a number of visually
impaired customers.
