I would absolutely send an email and call them. I would do this however I don't have the product.

It read it in the lowest voice possible, and it is a bit mumbly. Also, I cannot maximize the Vipre Screen. I believe it said JAWS cursor, but the voice is different from the JAWS cursor's default. I'm not worrying about that for now. The main point is that I can read the information I need. My scan took a good 7 or 8 hours. I checked it later, and it was completed. It makes me feel better about purchasing Vipre. I am still considering sending Vipre an E-mail recommending that they improve this to the point that no OCR function would be necessary. -----Original Message----- From: Dennis Long Sent: Monday, June 26, 2017 12:05 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Vipre Could you read what you were trying to read? -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tom Fairhurst Sent: Monday, June 26, 2017 10:36 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Vipre \\I just got around to trying this. The OCR does help. I tried Insert+Spacebar followed by W and then by S. While may be not perfect, Insert+the results are very helpful. Thanks for the suggestion. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Sent: Sunday, June 18, 2017 2:13 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Vipre Have you tried Convenient OCR on that screen, Tom? Lots of times, it will read things that other times is invisible. Try Insert-Space, then O then W and see if it gives you the scanning progress dialog. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom Fairhurst" <[email protected]> To: "List Jaws" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 18, 2017 12:25 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Vipre >I know some of you are getting tired of this, but I thik the subject is >relevant since we are constantly tryhing to find antivirus, security, >and spyware programs that we can navigate and which do their jobs well. >In Window-Eyes, the mouse cursor can read such headings as “header text,” >block title,” total items scanned” (multiple times), “progressk,” >“right now text,” and “status text.” Uet tje actia; text is not displayed. >I can’t read any of this with JAWS.
