This system has never had an ILM key on it at all. It has always been used
with a dongle. In short you do not need an ILM key if you have a dongle
hooked up.

Hi David,
I thought I had read somewhere that there was a way to authorize Jaws using
your dongle, without burning activation keys, & this is what I'm trying to
verify. It sounds too good to be true, & was probably someone speculating
more than anything else. Well, I'll just make sure that I've got activation
keys available, & a dongle in my pocket! LOL

My guess is it will need to be authorized as it might very well detect the
change in hardware. So far as a dongle goes, so long as it is in your system
is authorized. Pull it out and it might take a couple of minutes before it
reverts to demo mode.
Let us know what happens if you wouldn't mind.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Authorizing Jaws
Hi All,
I'm going to clone my current Windows 7 operating system from a mechanical
drive to a solid state drive, so in doing this will Jaws notice the hardware
change, & require reauthorization of all versions of Jaws installed to this
operating system? I know the question sounds like a no brainer, but not
having ever done this I want to make sure, so I have authorization keys
available when necessary. Also, is it possible to reauthorize Jaws using a
dongle? If so how is reauthorizing Jaws with a dongle done? All help will
be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers!
