Hi Jerry, If you are using the 3.5 audio jack on the computer for your headset, then there will most likely not be a volume setting for it. The volume seems louder because the sound is directly in your ear! Typically plugging a headset into the 3.5 audio jack disconnects the speakers and re-directs the circuit to whatever is plugged into the audio jack.
