Brian,
As always thank you. I tried to find these values. How did you know that
it is a paragraph mark?
I did find that Notepad has a hex converter but had no idea how to add on
this plug in.

Hi Ann Marie,

The character at the end of each line except the bottom line is a paragraph
mark. To replace it in Word you can use a caret (shift key with 6) followed
by a lower case p. In the Replace With box you can use caret mark followed
immediately by a lower case t. Use the Replace all to replace all paragraph
marks with tabs.

If there is more text in the document you might want to first select what
you want to replace before using the Replace dialog box.

If you copy the text with the paragraph marks each word will go on a
separate row in a column when pasted in Excel. If you have tabs instead of
the paragraph marks then text will be placed in cells of the same row.

Take care.

Below is data from a web site. After each word Jaws announces a blank. I
have no idea what this blank character is. I want to copy data from web
site save as word document. Then control h to replace blank with a tab. If
blank changed to tab I can easily read info in Excel.
Does anyone know how to identify this blank character?
Last character after the word place is blank.
Copy data from web site:
Place
Bow
Name
Raw
+/-
