Hi Mauricio, Thanks for your reply. I also mostly use JAWS, but do have a very small amount of vision and sometimes need to use ZoomText magnified at a very high level.
I installed Fusion last weekend, and for a day or so, it seemed to work ok except that ZoomText didn't appear to be tracking as I was typing text, which I thought Fusion was supposed to do well. Then JAWS started saying something different from the keys I would press, such as control-alt-tab when I pressed alt-tab. Also, it would double speak the letters I was typing, i.e. saying "A A" when I typed an "A". For now I am running the components of Fusion, JAWS 18 and ZoomText 11, together, but as the separate programs, not the Fusion program. If I try to run fusion, not only do I have the keyboard issues I described, but it becomes so slow as to be unusable. My understanding was that Fusion was a combination of JAWS 18 and Zoomtext 11, so I don't understand why running the two individual programs together works, but if I run Fusion, it is not working correctly. I rarely use the magnification portion and use the JAWS part of Fusion almost exclusively. I made the switch to learn what, if any, the benefits would be compared to JAWS and MAGic. As far as I can tell, the JAWS component of Fusion is simply JAWS, so I would like to ask what part of Fusion you might require assistance with. Of course, I am by no means an expert with the magnification component of Fusion, but it is worth the asking. You could create one. On 12/20/17, George Martinez Sr <[email protected]> wrote: > There is a Zoomtext list but I do not know how to join.
