Hi Kevin,
This I got from others, so in a nutshell:
1. Open the Run dialogue with Windows key + R, type what's below, & press
enter:
netplwiz
You can also type this in the search field in the start menu.
2. You'll be on the User Accounts dialog, select the user account that you
want to turn off the password login for, and then uncheck labeled Users must
enter a user name and password to use
this computer.
3. Tab to the Apply, button & press the spacebar, & it'll say something like
Automatically sign in box. You'll need to type in your password, tab 1
time, type your password again to confirm your password, now tab to, Okay, &
press enter.
Restart your computer to see how it works.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

Hi Kevin,
I am running the 1709 Build 16299.125, & Randy's steps worked just fine.
What I was doing wrong was not putting in in my password & confirming it
after pressing the apply button, & before pressing the okay button.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

if you are using
win 10 1709, Build 16299.125
I think microsoft removed the users do not need a password to login
I myself would like to do the same but cannot find the check box
if you are not using build 125 it's in the users profile
select your profile and look for a check box users do not need a password to
login.
sorry I cannot be of more help!

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Windows 10 Log-in Without Password
Hi All,
I'm running Windows 10 with Jaws 16 thru 2018. How do I set-up Windows 10
so I don't have to put in a password everytime I start the computer? I
would like for it to just start, & go to the desktop. All help will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.
