Hi Victor, The, netplwiz, command takes you to the same place, so I would imagine being it's an easier command it's more popular. But, as you said your command will work as well. Take care. Mike. I'm sorry. What happened to the "control userpasswords2" command? Is this not available on your computer? In case it is, the command is to user your run dialog box and type in the following without the quotes: "control userpasswords2" and press enter. You'll find a checkbox that states, users must enter a password to use this computer. Uncheck this box, and when you press apply, you'll be prompted to enter the username of the user that should always log on, and to type in their password. Confirm the password and press the ok button. I'm confused as to why no one suggested this? It's been the default command for this task for as long as I've o wned a computer. How do I set-up Windows 10 so I don't have to put in a password everytime I start the computer? I would like for it to just start, & go to the desktop. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Arguing with a woman is like reading a software license agreement. In the end you have to ignore everything, & click I agree.
