Chris, What doesn't work? I'm late on this thread. When you customize a punctuation sign, you tell JAWS to SILENCE non, some, most, or all speaking of it. thus, when you have set apostrophe [or quote] to 'all' in the default or the application configuration, it will not then be spoken at all.
