I found some hot keys of info for AVG when I opened AVG and arrowed down to the Program Settings and entered on that, it gave me many control-tab pages and on the Keyboard tab is where these hot keys are listed. Maybe it will help you with locating the firewall.
Also I opened the systems tray and entered on AVG control center and in that menu is where you launch different things, I found one of them to be very interesting that it gave me a list of everything that AVG has running on my computer and that made me happy to know..
