Patricia, Thanks for all your tips! Having looked at the help, and all the stuff in the user interface, I find that tools/firewall options is where what I need should be, but apparently this should be a multi-page dialog box, but jaws does not seem to be able to read anything other than the first page, ant=d ctrl+tab has no effect, so I'm a bit stuck now. I opened the program on my desktop, arrowed to help entered on it and nothing happened until I pressed F1 and a drop down list came into view and from there I went to the firewall when you enter on it it clicks as if it was a link but nothing happens, so you don't do that.
