I have several issues with Firefox 3. Sometimes, when activating on a link it does not seem to react. When activating a link to download a file, I get no immediate feedback, and the download manager only appears about half of the time. I have set the options to show the download window, not to close when finished, and to ask me for a filename. I have never been asked for a filename. When it does work, I don't know until I manually pull up the download manager and find it has already been downloaded.
Similarly, I am having problems with browsing. When pressing Control Enter to open a tab in the background, there is no immediate feedback and it works only about half of the time. Very frustrating to finish with the current page, close the tab, and find out the other tab never opened! Using Control Shift Enter to open a tab in the foreground never works. By watching this list, I reckon' that I am the only one facing these issues. I love Firefox 3, and would love to be able to make it my default browser! I was a Computer Architect at Lockheed Martin before becoming disabled and evangelized about open standards. To clear up any confusion, I am running Vista, Firefox 3 and the latest release of JAWS 9.
