Hi, To clear cookies and other private data, go to the tools menu and arrow down to the clear private data option. A dialog box with the various options you can clear will appear. Press the spacebar to check or uncheck each option. By default, the option to clear cookies is not checked.
Also, the shortcut key to open the clear private data option is control Shift delete.
