HI victor. Thanks. yes, I had checked both those options under Basics, so unfortunately that's not what's causing JAWS to shut down upon logging on. It's a mystery. I'm using JAWS 9.0.2169 which I believe was released in May.

The first is to start Jaws at the log on screen, and the second one is to start Jaws automatically when windows starts. If you go into the basics options, you should find both checkboxes in that dialog box. Hope this helps.
