Laser printers are much faster than ink jet, and their cartridges last a
lot longer, even though they are more expensive than ink jet cartridges.
I bought an HP monochrome laser printer for about $100, and it comes
with a toner cartridge installed. I've had it for over 2 years, and am
still using the original cartridge, even though I don't print a lot.

Right now I have a lot of printing to do, going to be sending out many
letters looking for work. So, I wonder how much printing can one get
done with the laser? Karen and Harpo
