Hi Annette and Patricia, I have also found this to be the case when I'm pasting something from the net into a message.
One thing that helps me is to paste it into a plain text message, or, if you have your messages set to compose in html, go to the format menu with alt+O, then press the letter X for plain text. This will remove all of the cells and stuff like that from the message. Once that's done, highlight the entire body of the message, and copy it to the clipboard. Then, you can switch it back to Rich Text/html by again going to the format menu with alt+O, and pressing R to switch back to rich text. At this point, highlight the entire body of the message again, and paste what's in the clipboard over what you've highlighted. I see no other way of doing this, but truth be told, I haven't investigated the issue much, as this way works well for me. Oh, and Patricia, just to et you know, I'll be responding to your message you sent me off-list later tonight, so please keep an eye out for it.
